Camping at Bristol Motor Speedway is one of the best ways to fully experience the atmosphere of NASCAR’s Food City 500. Staying close to the track means you are never far from the roar of the engines and the lively race-weekend atmosphere. Camping spaces are very popular and often sell out early, so booking well in advance is recommended.

Camping around Bristol Motor Speedway provides a true race-weekend experience with several different options. Visitors can choose from premium RV sites with full utilities or simpler spaces for RVs and tents. Whether you prefer a comfortable campsite with full facilities or a traditional NASCAR tailgating environment, there are options for every type of fan.

Creekside Luxury RV Park (Full Hookup)

• Surface & Size: Paved sites, approx. 30′ × 60′
• Amenities: 30/50-amp electricity, water and sewer connections, Wi-Fi, CCTV monitoring, landscaped surroundings, fire pit with firewood, picnic furniture, and a private golf cart shuttle
• Details: A high-end camping area located just a short walk from the Speedway and Dragway
• Note: Spaces are limited and usually sell out quickly; joining the waitlist is recommended if the area is full

Medallion Campground & Medallion Signature Sites (Full Hookup)

• Surface & Size: Reserved paved sites, approx. 20′ × 50′
• Amenities: Full hookups, Wi-Fi access, private golf cart shuttle, 24/7 on-site assistance and security, landscaped surroundings, and welcome gifts for campers
• Signature Sites Extras: Concrete patio or deck, grill, fire pit, and outdoor furniture
• Atmosphere: A comfortable camping option offering additional convenience and upgraded facilities

Dragstrip Campground – Non-Hookup (Dry RV)

• Surface & Size: Asphalt or gravel sites, approx. 16′ × 40′
• Amenities: Showers, restrooms, water-fill and dump stations, shuttle access, and 24-hour security
• Notes: Generators are allowed; any fires must be safely contained

Dragstrip Campground – Tent Camping

• Surface & Size: Grass plots measuring approx. 20′ × 20′, with up to two tents permitted per site
• Amenities: Parking for vehicles, showers and restrooms, shuttle service, and security
• Notes: Generators and open fires are not permitted in this area

Landing Campground – Non-Hookup (RVs & Trailers)

• Surface & Size: Gravel sites, approx. 20′ × 50′
• Amenities: Showers, restrooms, water-fill and dump stations, shuttle access, and security staff
• Notes: Generators are permitted, but tent camping is not allowed

Dragstrip Electric Only (RV)

• Surface & Size: Gravel or asphalt sites, approx. 16′ × 40′ or 20′ × 50′
• Amenities: 30/50-amp electrical connections, restrooms, showers, water-fill and dump stations, shuttle service, and security
• Notes: Open fires are not allowed

Dragstrip – Premium (Full Hookup)

• Surface & Size: Gravel sites, approx. 20′ × 50′
• Amenities: Full hookups, restrooms and showers, shuttle access, and security
• Notes: Availability is very limited and usually requires joining a waitlist
