TRAVELING BY CAR

Driving is the most common way to reach Bristol Motor Speedway. Both free and paid parking areas are available around the venue, and shuttle buses usually operate from more distant lots to the main entrances. To make your arrival easier:

• Plan your route in advance using a GPS or navigation app
• Try to arrive early to avoid heavy traffic and delays
• Follow all directional signs and instructions from event staff when entering parking areas

Driving directions

• From Knoxville (approx. 1.5 hours / 110 miles): Take I-40 East to I-81 North, then continue onto I-26 East toward Johnson City. From there, follow signs to US-11E South, which leads to the Speedway.
• From Asheville (approx. 1.5 hours / 85 miles): Take I-26 West toward Johnson City and then continue on US-11E South to Bristol Motor Speedway.
• From Charlotte (approx. 3 hours / 200 miles): Take I-85 South to US-321 North toward Hickory, then join I-40 West. Continue to I-26 West toward Johnson City and follow US-11E South.
• From Nashville (approx. 4.5 hours / 290 miles): Take I-40 East to I-81 North, then merge onto I-26 East toward Johnson City. Continue on US-11E South to reach the Speedway.
